Following Twitter Footstep, Facebook And Instagram Unblocks Donald Trump's Account But Will Be Monitored

After Twitter, whose decision was made on the basis of the votes received in a survey proposed by Elon Musk, Facebook and Instagram have also rehabilitated the profiles of the former president of the United States, once again engaged in the race for the White House.

Donald Trump has been unblocked from all social networks but Meta declares that he will remain "a special surveillance". In other words, there will be some personnel who will analyze the messages published by Trump and if anomalies are found, he will be immediately stopped.

In addition to the normal rules of conduct expected for each member, Trump will have to submit to a long series of personalized security measures. A single infraction will be enough to close the profile again. Meta will also be able to limit the viewing of your posts or block the share button.

Trump had been blocked in January 2021 due to the Capitol Hill events on which Tim Cook also intervened, a few hours after the assault on the Capitol by his supporters determined to prevent the proclamation of Joe Biden as president of the United States.

In response to the bans received on the most famous social networks, Trump has created his own micro-blogging platform similar to Twitter and called TRUTH , which however has obviously not been very successful in terms of subscribers and users.

Trump's communications will continue to take place on TRUTH but, after unblocking, they can also take place on other social networks as long as a publication delay of at least 6 hours is maintained.
