When products are being developed, it's not uncommon for employees to test those prototypes outside of the company. It's a great way to evaluate devices in a real-world environment, find bugs, and make improvements.
Of course, this opens up the risk that the product will be discovered before launch. It looks like Google may have just suffered this consequence with its upcoming Pixel Fold.
One Reddit user traveling on train A in New York City said they saw Google employees on the same train as them. That Googler seems to be trying to cover something up. The Reddit user said the employee was holding a foldable phone that they believed was the Pixel Fold.
It is difficult to glean any information from these blurry photos. These photos are not ideal for identifying the device in the person's hand.
It's entirely possible that the person in these images is holding some other foldable device, such as the Oppo Find N2.
